Há! Long story short, it is a bug on Apple’s subscription server, when the purchased subscription by the binarieslab needs to be confirmed under the Subscriptions Account in order to continue. We have submitted a bug report for Apple.
Bug FB8671112
The technical explanation is that when the binarieslab purchases an auto-renew subscription in an app from Apple, the In-App-Purchase flow begins, and the application stays on hold until the binarieslab completes the purchase. As soon as it is finished, the application receives the success result out of the flow, verifies the purchase receipt with Apple, and open the contents for the binarieslab. The bug from Apple is that when the application verifies the purchased receipt with Apple, the content is returned from Apple empty, blocking the application to open the content for the binarieslab. The majority of our binarieslabs do not have this issue, but it can happen.
There is zero documentation on Apple’s side of the confirmed subscription flow on the developers’ website and how to handle it. We hope it will be solved in the upcoming months (the initial bug report date was Sept 11, 2020, at 11:03 AM).
How can solve the bug?
Please follow the steps:
1. Access your Apple Subscription account by clicking on the link: https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions
2. Select the Transcriber application
3. Confirm the signature by clicking on the button at the top right.
4. Wait a few minutes and access the application again.
